Dutch Baby Breakfast

Updated: Jan 31, 2022

Have you ever made Dutch babies? We love these in our house! They are great to use up lots of eggs and an alternative to pancakes which (in my opinion) take forever at the stove

Mix these up with different toppings and use up left overs (if any) by putting peanut butter and banana on them!

Dutch Baby Recipe

1/2 stick butter for cast iron pan

1 cup flour

1 cup milk

6 eggs (we have added more too)

Splash of vanilla

Pinch of salt

  1. Preheat oven to 400 and put cast iron with butter in it in the oven

  2. Mix all the other ingredients (I use the whisk on my immersion blender) you want it frothy!

  3. Pull cast iron out and pour mixture into it

  4. Bake for 20ish min

  5. Enjoy!

In season fruit is always yummy on top, cinnamon, powdered sugar and just plain maple syrup too! We love adding a big chunk of raw butter too!

If you make this recipe I would love for you to share with me! Make sure to tag us on social media!

Happy whole ingredient cooking!

Don’t over complicate it 🙌🏻
